September 1, 2008May Arts was founded in the early 1980’s in Greenwich, CT. The original products were high-end silk flowers from Taiwan, which were decorated using quality ribbons. The ribbons proved so popular among customers that the business gradually evolved into a dedicated ribbon wholesaler.
May Arts came to Whiteboard needing a true online presence for potential customers, as well as an area for current clients to order materials. Using existing branding and the "ribbon" concept, Whiteboard designed both "front end" and "memebers only" websites. Both were developed using standards compliant xhtml/css, then joined together when they were integrated with the Springboard CMS and eCommerce system.
