Whiteboard Media was approached by Gerald Kolpan (well known for his work as a Fox feature reporter) and his publisher, Random House, to create a character-driven site for his debut novel, Etta.
The client's requirements were very elemental: "All I want is the best author website ever - that's all I want!" We took him up on the challenge and dove into the book and its characters to create a site that was rich and modern in its interface and marketing structure, but classic Wild West in its feel.
Detailed backgrounds, photo treatments, and creative use of typefaces and color helped to make this site unique and a lot of fun!
